Current Developments

In view of the strong sanitization features of Plascide, our research team has commenced the R&D to further exploit Plascide to sanitize  escalator handrails.

Potential Benefits

The surface sanitization Plascide technology can prevent cross-infection and spread of pathogenic microbes through surface contact in many sectors/areas such as escalator handrails, baby bottles, contact lens, etc.

Fulfilled Research

Plascide was invested in the wake of the 2003 Serve Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) epidemic. Our research team has already finished the R&D of plascide to air sanitization. Also, we have already applied the technology to different applications.

Existing Benefits

A series of air sanitization products incorporating Plascide technology has already been developed for use in personal, home, offices, and buildings to prevent cross-infection, especially in crowded places and particularly to protect most vulnerable people in need (e.g., hospitals, kindergartens, nursing centers and public transportation)
